Orbiz vs Slack

Prices checked

Slack is the reference team chat, priced per user, with huddles for calls and an App Directory of thousands of integrations. Orbiz Huddl is the chat inside Orbiz: channels, direct messages, threads, guests and files, included in the flat price for every member, next to the projects, people and payroll the conversation is about. Choose Slack if your work runs on calls and integrations inside chat and you have a budget per seat. Choose Huddl if everyone in the company should be in without a licence and the chat should live with the rest of the business.

FAQ

Orbiz vs Slack: what people ask

Is Orbiz cheaper than Slack?

For a team of 20 on Slack Pro, chat alone is $7.25 per user a month billed annually — $1,740 a year. Orbiz is one flat price per organisation set by headcount band: $2,388 a year for up to 25 people on annual billing, with all ten tools and unlimited members.

Does Huddl have huddles, calls or video?

No. This release of Huddl is text, threads, files and search. Audio and video are planned for a later release; until then a team that calls from chat every day should keep that in mind.

How do guests compare?

In Slack a single-channel guest is free and a multi-channel guest takes a paid seat, both on paid plans. In Huddl an admin invites a guest by email to one or more huddls and channels; the guest costs nothing, sees only those channels and cannot reach any other Orbiz tool.
