FAQ

Orbiz vs Hubstaff: what people ask

What does Hubstaff Team cost against Orbiz?

Hubstaff Team is $10 a seat a month billed annually, $12 monthly, and every member who tracks time takes a seat — thirty people come to $3,600 a year on annual billing. AMS has no seat price; it is one of ten tools in the Orbiz flat price per organisation, $4,188 a year for up to 50 people. For time tracking alone Hubstaff is cheaper at that size; Orbiz is the cheaper bill once HR, projects or payroll would be separate subscriptions too.

Does AMS track apps, URLs or location like Hubstaff?

No. AMS records clock-ins, breaks, idle pauses and, where the organisation switches them on, screenshots with a capture-health record. It does not log app or URL usage and has no GPS or geofencing, so a field team that clocks in at job sites is better served by Hubstaff.

Can Hubstaff run payroll the way Ledgr does?

Hubstaff turns tracked hours into payments on its Team plan and connects to payment and payroll providers. Ledgr builds the salary sheet itself — rate rules, bonuses, claims, loan recovery, statutory contributions and tax slabs — and issues payslips, with Pakistan’s rules built in and other countries entered as tables.
