People, documents and logins for a non-profit, without paying per head

Non-profits run lean and rely on people who come and go — staff, volunteers, field teams, board members — yet still need the same records, leave rules and secure logins as any employer. Orbiz gives all of them one login and one set of tools, with no per-seat charge for the volunteers.

Every tool included in every plan. No per-seat charge, no per-tool upsell.

The problem

Where non-profit teams lose time today

01

Volunteers with no record at all

Staff are in the HR spreadsheet; volunteers are in someone’s phone. Contracts, consent forms and emergency contacts are wherever they were last emailed.

02

Grant paperwork across three inboxes

Every funder wants a report against a document set that was submitted a year ago, and the final version lives in the inbox of whoever wrote it.

03

Per-seat pricing that punishes volunteering

Most tools charge for every account, so volunteers and part-timers are left out of the systems, and the systems are left incomplete.

What non-profit teams usually pay for instead

A team like yours typically runs on Clockify, Trello, Google Drive, 1Password and a payroll spreadsheet — each with its own bill, its own user list and its own offboarding step. Orbiz covers the same jobs for one flat price per organisation, with unlimited members.

Non-profits FAQ

Questions non-profit teams ask

Do volunteers count as paid seats?

No. Orbiz has no per-seat charge; the price is one flat figure for the organisation, set by headcount band. Volunteers, part-time staff and board members can each have their own login with a role that limits what they see.

Can we give a funder or an auditor read-only access to a folder?

There is no external guest login, so a funder or auditor is not given an account of their own. A Filespace folder can be switched to “anyone with the link”, which lets them open it and download its files without signing in; the switch is off by default and you turn it off when the review ends. A public link has no password or expiry date, so use it for what you would be content to email.

Does Orbiz manage donors or fundraising?

No. Orbiz covers the internal side of a non-profit — people records, attendance, documents, shared credentials, boards and notes. It is not a donor CRM or fundraising platform, but it can keep those platforms’ logins safe in Vault.
