Filespace · Files & storage

A shared team drive without per-user licences

Folders, sharing, starred items, recent activity and a recoverable trash — inside your organisation’s own space, where an admin sets each member’s quota instead of buying licences.

Included in every plan. No per-seat charge, no per-tool upsell.

What you can do

What Filespace does

A shared drive that belongs to your organisation, with quotas you control instead of licences you buy.

01

Folders, sharing and starred items

Organise files in folders, share them with named teammates, and star what you come back to. When someone outside the organisation needs a folder, switch on a public link for it. Recent activity shows what changed since you last looked.

02

Recoverable trash

Deleted files go to a trash you can restore from, so a mis-click is an undo, not a support ticket.

03

Per-member quotas set by admins

Admins allocate storage per member and see usage at a glance. Adding a member does not add a storage bill.

04

Scoped to your organisation

Files live under your organisation’s own tenant, never in a bucket shared with other customers, and access follows the same roles as every other tool.

Who it's for

Teams that get the most from Filespace

Teams paying per seat for storage
Unlimited members on the platform; storage is a quota an admin sets, not a licence you buy.
Admins who need the boundary
Every file lives under your organisation’s own storage prefix and is served through signed URLs. Nothing is mixed with another customer’s files.
People who lose files
Starred items, recent activity and a trash you can restore from.

Filespace FAQ

Questions about Filespace

Is there a storage limit?

Storage is managed as per-member quotas set by your admins within your organisation’s allocation. Quotas can be changed at any time from the admin view.

Can files be shared with people outside the organisation?

Yes, by folder. Sharing is with named members by default; a folder can also be switched to “anyone with the link”, and people outside your organisation then open it and download its files without signing in. The switch is off by default and can be turned off again at any time. A Filespace link has no password or expiry date — for a link that expires, use a Grabr share link.

What happens to deleted files?

They move to a trash inside Filespace where they can be restored. Emptying the trash removes them permanently.

Can an AI assistant work in Filespace?

Yes. Through Orbiz MCP, Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code can take 6 actions in Filespace as you, with your own permissions. Files and folders: browse a folder, search, get a file, create a folder, save a text file and share a file or folder. An assistant cannot reach: uploading anything other than a text file; deleting or moving files and folders. You approve access on an Orbiz consent page, tool by tool, and can disconnect at any time.
