Orbiz vs Lark

Prices checked

Lark is a collaboration suite: messenger, meetings, mail, docs and a no-code database in one app, free for up to 20 users and $6 or $12 a user a month billed annually after that. Orbiz is nine operational tools on one account — hiring, attendance and leave, projects, files, an encrypted vault, screen recording, profitability, notes and payroll — at a flat price per organisation. They overlap less than the word all-in-one suggests. Choose Lark if the gap is how people talk and write together. Choose Orbiz if it is how you hire, track time, deliver projects and pay people.

FAQ

Orbiz vs Lark: what people ask

Can Orbiz replace Lark for chat and meetings?

No. Orbiz has no messenger, video meetings, email or document editor, and does not plan them. Most teams on Orbiz keep a chat and meetings tool beside it; Lark is one of them, and its free Starter plan covers 20 users.

Does Lark do hiring, payroll or project profitability?

Its plans page lists attendance, approvals, OKRs and tasks under people management, and project management as the Meegle add-on; it does not list applicant tracking, payroll or project margin. Orbiz covers those in HRMS, Ledgr and Trackline, with hours from AMS feeding both payroll and cost.

Which costs less for 50 people?

Lark Pro is $12 a user a month billed annually — $7,200 a year for 50 people; Basic is $3,600. Orbiz is one flat price per organisation by headcount band: $4,188 a year for up to 50 people. Set it against the Lark tier you would actually need, plus the tools Lark does not replace.
