HRMS for retail & e-commerce

Forty seasonal starters, one pipeline, one onboarding checklist that every store follows

Seasonal hiring is volume hiring: dozens of applicants, a short interview, and a start date next week. The onboarding that follows is where a retailer gets it wrong — the contract signed late, the policy never read, the uniform issued but never recorded. HRMS runs the volume through a pipeline with the stages you need and gives every starter the same checklist, tracked on their record, so store two onboards the way store one does.

Included in every plan. No per-seat charge, no per-tool upsell.

In practice

What HRMS does for retail & e-commerce

01

Volume applications from your own careers page

Seasonal roles published on the retailer’s careers page with an indexable URL each; applications land in a pipeline per role with the stages you set — a screening call, a store interview — and structured feedback from the interviewing manager.

02

Employee records by store and role

Every hire becomes a record with store as department, role and experience level, so headcount per store and who is on which contract type is a filter rather than a spreadsheet.

03

The same onboarding checklist in every store

Policies to read, identity and right-to-work documents to upload, uniform and equipment issued, till and system access granted — one checklist per role, tracked per starter, so the store manager knows what is outstanding.

04

Documents requested and stored against the record

Identity, contract and training documents are requested from the new starter, uploaded from their own login and kept on their record, so the file is complete before the first shift rather than chased in the second month.

Where HRMS hands off for a retail team

The record HRMS creates is the one AMS clocks against from the first shift and the one Ledgr pays. At the end of the season, marking leavers inactive ends their access everywhere and keeps their records, so rehiring next year starts from a file rather than from scratch.

Questions retail teams ask about HRMS

Can store managers run interviews and onboarding for their own store only?

Yes. Roles are composed from permissions, so a store manager can be given the pipeline and records for their store and nothing else, while head office sees every store.

How do we rehire last season’s staff?

Leavers marked inactive keep their records and history. Reactivating a returning member restores their access; their documents and previous onboarding are already on file, and only what has expired needs requesting again.

Is there a kiosk or app for staff without a company email?

Members are invited by email and log in from any browser, including a phone. A staff member without a work address is invited on a personal one. A dedicated mobile app is planned but not available; the web app works on a phone today.
