HRMS for startups

Hire your first twenty people with a careers page you own and a pipeline you did not have to buy

A startup’s first hires are made from a job post pasted into a form builder, a spreadsheet of applicants, and interview notes in three people’s heads. An applicant tracking system fixes that, and charges a recruiter seat for the privilege. HRMS gives you a careers page at your own address, a pipeline with the stages you choose, structured feedback from every interviewer, and a record for the person you hire — included in the flat price.

Included in every plan. No per-seat charge, no per-tool upsell.

In practice

What HRMS does for startups

01

A careers page on your own subdomain

Build the page from a few forms, no code, and publish it at <your-org>.orbiz.team/careers. Every role has its own indexable URL, so candidates find your roles from search rather than only from your network.

02

Stages you define, feedback everyone scores the same way

Set the interview stages per role, schedule interviews, and collect structured feedback from each interviewer so a founder, an engineer and an early hire all score the same things and the decision is comparable across candidates.

03

Assessments from a question bank

Send an online assessment built from a reusable question bank; results attach to the candidate beside the interview feedback, so the pipeline view shows scores next to opinions.

04

Hire to onboarded in one record

Turn a candidate into an employee record with department, role and a guided onboarding checklist — documents to upload, policies to read, tools to access — so the first day is a list, not a scramble.

Where HRMS hands off for a startup team

The employee record HRMS creates is the person every other tool knows: they clock in AMS, appear on Cadence boards, are costed in Trackline and paid by Ledgr from the same record. A startup that hires ten people this quarter enters each of them once.

Questions startup teams ask about HRMS

Do candidates need an account to apply?

No. The careers page and every job post are public pages; a candidate applies from the post and only your team logs in. Applications land in the pipeline with the CV and answers attached.

Does HRMS post our roles to job boards?

No. It publishes them on your own careers page with indexable URLs, which is what gets them into search results. Posting to third-party job boards is something you do from those boards, linking back to your page.

Can we use HRMS for hiring alone and add the rest later?

Yes. Tools are switched on per organisation, so a startup can start with HRMS for hiring and records and enable attendance, boards or payroll when it needs them. The people you hired are already in the system when you do.

Want HRMS set up for your startup team?

It comes with every plan, alongside the other tools. Tell us your team size and we set up a working organisation for you to try.
